Welcome to Life’s A Trip. By using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please review the following terms carefully. If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use our services.

2. Services Provided

Life’s A Trip offers travel planning services, including but not limited to, itinerary creation, booking of accommodations, and arrangements for activities and transportation. Our services do not include the direct booking of economy airfare.

3. Payment Terms

• Planning Fees: All services require full payment of the invoiced planning fee at the beginning of the planning process. These fees are based on two travelers for seven days and may be adjusted according to the specifics of your inquiry. Planning fees are non-refundable and non-negotiable.
• Additional Fees: Additional charges may apply for rush bookings and a la carte services. These will be discussed and agreed upon prior to any additional work being undertaken.
• Supplier Payments: Only planning fees are paid directly to Life’s A Trip. All other bookings are paid directly to the suppliers via a credit card authorization form.

4. Minimum Budget Requirements

• Custom Itineraries: A minimum working budget of $10,000 is required for fully customized itineraries.
• Simpler Getaways: A minimum budget of $7,500 is required for simpler getaways, such as all-inclusive stays in the Caribbean or Mexico.
• Budget Adjustments: Budgets are based on two travelers and may need to be adjusted according to your specific needs and wants. This budget does not include incidental spending or additional fees incurred during travel.

5. Airfare Bookings

• Business Class Airfare: We do not book economy airfare. We offer booking of business class airfare for a supplemental fee.
• Recommendations: We are happy to recommend routes and dates based on your inquiry and advise clients to review airfare pricing prior to finalizing itinerary dates.

6. Quality of Service

• Accommodations: We book only 4 and 5-star accommodations to ensure a quality stay and experience for our clients.
• Service Standards: Our minimum budgets and policies help us maintain the high standards our clients expect and allow us to work with fewer clients to provide dedicated attention to each.

7. Client Evaluation

• Inquiry Evaluation: All inquiries are vetted to ensure a good fit with our services. Clients with budgets below our minimum are considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Intake Call: Budgets and specific needs will be discussed during your intake call to ensure alignment with your expectations and our service capabilities.
• Alternative Suggestions: If we do not feel confident that we can deliver within your budget, we will suggest alternative options.

8. Cancellation and Refund Policy

• Planning Fees: As planning fees are non-refundable, cancellations do not entitle you to a refund of these fees.
• Supplier Cancellations: Cancellations of bookings made directly with suppliers are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective suppliers. We advise reviewing these terms carefully.

9. Liability

Life’s A Trip acts as a travel planning service and does not operate, control, or supervise any suppliers of travel services. We are not responsible for any acts or omissions of suppliers or any issues arising from bookings made directly with them.

10. Amendments

Life’s A Trip reserves the right to amend these Terms of Service at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Life’s A Trip operates.
