To kick off the planning process, we ask for full payment of the planning fee upfront. This fee is based on a trip for two travelers over seven days, and it will be adjusted according to the specifics of your inquiry. Please keep in mind that these fees are non-refundable and non-negotiable.
There may be additional charges for rush bookings or if you choose any a la carte services. We’ll make sure to discuss these with you beforehand so there are no surprises.
It’s also important to note that we do not book economy airfare.
For clarity, the only payments you will make directly to Life’s A Trip are the planning fees. All other travel bookings will be paid directly to the suppliers via a credit card authorization form. This ensures that you have full control over your travel expenditures.

Please note that we exclusively book 4 and 5-star accommodations to ensure a quality stay and exceptional experience for our clients. Additionally, we require a minimum budget tailored to the level of service that best suits your needs.
For fully custom itineraries, we require a minimum working budget of $10,000. For simpler getaways, such as all-inclusive stays in the Caribbean or Mexico, we require a minimum budget of $7,500. These fees and budgets are based on two travelers and may need to be adjusted according to your specific requirements. Please note that this budget does not account for incidental spending at the destination or any additional fees incurred while traveling.
To maintain the high level of service we provide, we do not book economy airfare. We can arrange business class airfare for an additional fee and are happy to recommend routes and dates based on your preferences. We encourage clients to review airfare pricing before finalizing their itinerary dates.
Our minimum budget ensures we can uphold the high-quality experiences our clients expect and aligns with the average trip costs for our most frequent destinations. This also allows us to focus on fewer clients, providing the dedicated attention each one deserves.
All inquiries, regardless of budget, are carefully evaluated to ensure a good fit. Clients with budgets below our minimum are considered on a case-by-case basis. During your intake call, we will discuss your budget to ensure it aligns with your needs and expectations. If we feel we cannot deliver within your budget, we will gladly suggest alternatives.
